“I recently found your podcast & your series from a few years back regarding NPD. I can’t thank you enough for the insight you’ve given me; I wish I could just sit down and have coffee with you. Because of you I’ve decided to pursue therapy to deal with this hopefully once & for all. I am so sorry this was long winded but i just want to thank you for making a difference and putting your stuff out there. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!” ~T.H.

“I stumbled upon your podcast after searching on “narcissism” and “podcast”. I really wanted to offer my deepest thanks Randi – your podcasts are healing. When I doubt myself, I simply listen and your words give me the strength to do the right thing. That is everything!” ~E.Z.
“I’ve been enjoying your podcast discussions on NPD parents and their adult children. I relate to it quite a bit. My brother and I were raised by an NPD mother. I’ve been in one-on-one counseling with a family focused LMHC for a year or so, but would like to know if you are able to offer counseling sessions – considering your expertise about NPD.” ~ A.T.
“I happen to find you in the middle of the night while I was searching for truth. After leaving a narcissistic husband of 15 years. I just want to say thank you for your passionate knowledge and enlighten information. Your explanation about narcissistic personality disorder on you podcast is so clear I would like to print it give it to my attorney to present in court.” ~E.
“I just heard your 5 part series on NPD mothers. My 2 siblings and I just recently solved the mystery of our crazy childhood. Unfortunately it took me getting in serious trouble (and living out a lame defined role I’ve always had) to figure it out. But its really great to finally have some answers! One thing I never can find I do on is the silent/lost child which I felt was me. A lot of info about the golden child or scapegoat but not the forgotten child.” ~R.D.
“Thank you so much for taking the time to devote part of your life to getting this message out there. As you surely know, growing up under the roof of an NPD family is a nightmare. But it’s a nightmare that’s all your own. I’ve found it practically impossible to express to anyone (including my wonderful wife) anything tangible about my childhood. It’s such a bizarre, insidious existence that drains you eternally, even long after leaving the home. From my experience in the past, some therapists have little to no experience or understanding of NPD. I feel it really is one aspect of Psychology that needs someone with extensive experience to treat and understand.” ~B.T.
“I just came across your podcast a couple of weeks ago and wanted to let you know how much I love it. You bring so much insight and sincerity to each show. Listening to them really has helped bring some wisdom in dealing with circumstances that are happening in my own life right now. I look forward to any new podcasts you have coming up.” ~Anon

“I came across a beautiful quote you posted on Pinterest. Somehow came to this page and read your prologue. As a 55 year old woman I am always looking for the kind of person who looks at life with appreciation. When I was reading I found you to be so honest, insightful and inspirational. Randi, you’re a wonderful person, and you now have a new dedicated follower and reader. I will be tuning into your blog radio show as a listener, and big fan. If there is anything I can ever do for you, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I’m a firm believer is Karma, and you just increased your good Karma flow exponentially.” ~V.V.
“I have been reading your blog for about a year and enjoy your words of encouragement and take comfort in knowing I’m not crazy. Being invalidated has been one of the hardest things for me. I stayed with a monster for seventeen years because I assumed there was something wrong with me being as how no one supported or acknowledged my pain. I’m glad for those people who don’t understand as it means they have not had an encounter with this soul-destroying personality. Thank you for sharing your experiences. I’m sorry you and your sisters had to live through that.” ~J.T.
“What a beauty about you….a warm and….deep joyous sensation as I intuitively connect with your energies here on your web community. It is not often I meet such a loving, sincere, tender and Spiritually aware entity. I am merely appreciating your generous and nurturing personality and wish to share my gratitude for people like you, who make this world a better place to live, grow and share our experiences. Thank you for being such a positive and EMPOWERING influence on us all, my friend.” ~J.
“Appreciating the time and effort you put into your site and detailed information you offer. It’s nice to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed information. Great read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.” ~K.L
“Hello I am so excited I found your webpage, I really found you by error, while I was searching on Google for something else, Nonetheless I am here now and would just like to say cheers for a fantastic post and a all round interesting blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to go through it all at the minute but I have bookmarked it and also added in your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read a lot more, Please do keep up the superb work.” ~K.L.

I would love to work with her sometime or in the future”. ~M.C.
“I am so grateful for my session with Randi. I have been in a confusing abusive marriage and finally there was someone who could see with clarity what I was going through. She not only validated my pain, but offered clear direction as to what the problem was, and how I could begin moving forward to become the whole healthy individual I was meant to be. The breadth of Randi’s life experience, and her positive responses to what she has encountered, I believe, are what gives her such extraordinary depth of understanding for what motivates people. She offers incredible insight about how people can turn life experiences into positive outcomes and the ability to grow, regardless of what they have been through.” ~D.H.

Fine...ly Book CoverFine…ly is a compelling, impactful story about hope and love that builds brick by brick from the bottom up, and then screams victory from the rooftop. It is an insightful fifty year account of the author’s tumultuous life filled with trauma, peril, and heartbreak. The story begins in an emotionally unsafe childhood that ultimately sets her up for codependency, emotional abuse and sexual abuse. It is a starkly honest, compelling story about a woman desperately clinging to hope in the midst of several traumatizing events. Fantasizing about a chivalrous white knight coming to rescue her and take her away from all the madness, she mistakenly falls deeply into a toxic, codependent love relationship with a heroin addict. Year later, prompted by the birth of the couple’s baby daughter, the author awakens to the reality of her anguished life. Vowing that her two month old daughter will never suffer in life the way she had, she leaves her marriage with baby in tow, penniless. In a desperate attempt to find a peaceful balance for her and her daughter’s lives, she leaves no stone unturned in searching for answers. She pours herself into reshaping her life, heals the wounds of her past, transforms her life, and ultimately finds the destiny she is meant for.

Moving Memoir is a Must!
I can’t recommend this book enough! Fine…ly draws you in from the first paragraph and you absolutely cannot put it down. I read it in two days! I’ve read many stories of adversity, but Fine…ly is truly a stand-out book. This remarkable Baltimore based memoir spans fifty years of the author’s life. Ms Fine is a gifted writer; it’s hard to believe that Fine…ly is her debut book. Her characters are described in such vivid detail they come alive, jump off the page, and nestle into the reader’s heart. Although Ms. Fine bears her soul, she shows great sensitivity when sharing the painful memories of her life. There is a lot of humor in the book too. The story discusses such topics as child abuse, sexual abuse, rape, addiction codependency; the author tells how she overcame it all. The book has an emotional surprise ending that will make you cheer for the heroine. It brings the entire story together. ~Nora
Courage Trumps Codependency
Ms. Fine expertly takes the reader into a world of childhood angst, molestation, rape, and codependency with a drug addict. While all serious subjects, she does not weigh the reader down with a “woe is me” attitude. Rather, she shows us that we do not have to be defined by bad events in our lives and that, with hope and courage we can rise above the pain and find happiness again. ~Barbara

The title “Awaken From Life” plus the artwork on the cover initially drew me to order this book. As I started reading it, I was amazed that so much of Randi’s writings seemed directed at myself and so many others that seem to not be able to live as fully and completely as possible. She then offered clear and possible direction so that no matter where you are at the present, you can recreate a better and more purposeful life for yourself. The past had often held me back, and i believe that digesting and implementing her lessons have already allowed me to see that today forward can be the best part of my life. Thought provoking….
A book that tries to answer many of life’s mysteries. I would recommend it to those seeking a belief in something else beyond this world. It’s a book you don’t fully get with the first read. I plan on reading it again. I found it to be comforting and reassuring, delving into a concept of an afterlife. I would recommend it to those interested in spirituality and not religion. ~Elisab
