Compassionate, Insight-Oriented Counseling From A Survivor Who Knows

If you are familiar with this website and with the work I do, as many are, you have probably read my articles and listened to me discuss emotional and mental healing topics. If you have not, I’d be delighted if you would please browse through this website to learn more.

Through my books, speaking engagements, radio show, and blog I have offered a better way of living. Many of the topics I cover are chosen to promote personal healing and inspire you to let go of the emotional burdens that prevent you from enjoying the life you deserve.

Each of us walks a different path in life with specific issues that are unique to us. I can only help so much with the information I put out there. Sometimes that is not enough. In many cases you need guidance that specifically addresses your issues, tools to help you work things out, and support to encourage you to see the process through. I know this because I have been where you are. I know what the suffering feels like. I am an adult survivor of Narcissistic abuse who worked for many years to overcome the multitude of issues associated with it.

I guide you, using insight-oriented therapy, towards the awareness and understanding of how your past dysfunctional relationships relate to the unresolved conflicts you are presently having. In my opinion, without that fundamental understanding you may be able to temporarily alleviate some symptoms, but you cannot possibly recover from this type of emotional trauma.

With the proper guidance and support you can also rise above the challenges life presents you. Your realities of today and experiences of the past do not have to be the realities of tomorrow, next month, or years to come. You will never forget what happened to you and what you have endured, but with my help, the emotional pain and guilt that you still suffer from can be eliminated. Life promises us that nothing is hopeless.

For over twenty-five years, I have been entrusted to guide others through their life issues, with the assurance that whatever they share with me will be held in the strictest of confidence. Under my care you will experience deep compassion, empathic wisdom, and decades of success in helping others with their mental health issues.

My expertise is in Narcissistic Personality Disorder abuse, but not limited to it. Though NPD is a very complicated issue, I have been tremendously successful in helping others overcome their lifelong pain, making choices about how to proceed with their abuser, and reclaiming their personal power.

I offer that wisdom and guidance to you, by telephone and Skype, from anywhere in the world, in the comfort of your own home or office. Please trust in me to help you. You don’t have to hurt anymore. Let’s work together to make a better you.

Let’s talk.

I. What to Expect From Counseling
Counseling is an individually tailored process which is designed to assist you in dealing with your concerns, coming to a greater understanding of yourself, and using effective means of coping which utilize personal and interpersonal resources. The counseling relationship usually involves sharing personal information with your counselor which may at times be sensitive, very private, or even distressing. If you pose a threat of harm to yourself or to another person I will take whatever steps are required by law, or permitted by law, to help prevent the potential harm from happening.
If you report information indicating that a child, disabled, or elderly person is suffering abuse or neglect I must report it.
