Skating Through Life Through the Eyes of a Blind Man

Some people blindly skate through their life; Stash Serafin is not one of them.  Stash, an incredibly courageous, exceedingly inspirational man, blind since birth skates joyfully through life. He has been a competetive figure skater and entertainer for the last forty years as well as a tireless fundraiser and motivational speaker.  Stash is a visionary who’s motto is, “Allow the possible to be possible.”  He exemplifies tenacity at its very best, demonstrated by his determination to succeed after being told repeatedly that blind men can’t skate.
Stash regards skating as a metaphor for living. As a Sensitive Energy Coach he teaches people to become attention oriented, conscientiously moving through their lives with more ease, dignity, and diplomacy.
I have had the good fortune of connecting with Stash on a personal level and have found him to be gentle, warm, and kind-hearted.  He is a deeply spiritual man who projects his inner beauty outward and shares his light with the world. What an inspiration to us all.

One Response to Skating Through Life Through the Eyes of a Blind Man

  1. I too have had my life brightened by Stash's light when we exchange Tweets, see each other online and especially when I listened to Dialogues With Dignity. Stash's gentleness of Spirit encourages me to do the same. Thanks for sharing this post about Stash.
